Eucalypt Media assisted the web startup Razoo with a wide variety of strategic marketing services as the company transitioned its business model from a social network to an online fundraising platform. We conducted a full content audit, developed marketing collateral including text and videos, and launched an online publication to raise Razoo’s spotlight among donors and nonprofits.
From 2008 to 2009, Eucalypt Media provided a wide range of consulting services for Razoo.com, a funded startup company that has built a crowdfunding platform for nonprofit organizations and their supporters to raise funds for causes they care about.
We helped the company develop a comprehensive content strategy to demonstrate thought leadership and expertise in the philanthropy and technology fields, refine its branding, increase search rankings, and drive visitors, donors, and nonprofit staff to the site.
In addition to creating and editing web copy and other marketing collateral, we managed a daily blog and wrote and edited a series of feature articles on innovative nonprofits. In order to increase the site’s pagerank and inbound traffic, we also managed the company’s social media profiles, seeded the content on social media sites, and developed content on Razoo’s behalf for other high-ranking websites such as The Huffington Post, resulting in a dramatic traffic increase of over 400 percent. We also provided assistance with web development services and produced a “Meet Razoo” tutorial video.
We also assisted in developing newsletters and other marketing collateral for Razoo’s first annual “Give to the Max!” Day, in partnership with the Minnesota Foundation GiveMN. This 2009 matching donation event raised more than $14 million on behalf of over 3,300 Minnesota nonprofits, cementing Razoo’s reputation as a powerful fundraising partner for the nonprofit world.
