We’ve developed marketing strategies and content for dozens of clients across a wide range of industries, collaborating closely with each client to ensure that we are meeting their needs.
For the past three years, Eucalypt Media has managed content development and editing for Husson University’s quarterly Husson Ledger, enabling the university marketing staff to focus on other goals and eliminating the high expense of hiring an in-house magazine editor.
Until 2011, Husson University, a university based in Bangor, Maine with a student body of more than 3,5000 students, had managed the production of the quarterly alumni publication, The Husson Ledger, in-house through the school’s communications department. However, at that point, the staff was overwhelmed with other communications and marketing demands, and was no longer able to manage the entire process. Although they had a clear sense of what content should be produced for the publication, they did not have the resources to write the articles in-house.
The school’s communications director enlisted Eucalypt Media for assistance in managing the editorial production of the magazine. Working from the university’s rough outline of article topics, Eucalypt Media staffed a team of writers to interview university sources and write feature articles about prominent staff and alumni, such as Maine’s Governor Paul LePage, and to manage the production of the publication’s “Class Notes” and “Around the Circle” section. For more than three years, Eucalypt Media has managed the majority of editorial work for the Ledger’s near-quarterly production, ensuring that each issue is completed by deadline and coordinating with internal staff to put out a polished product every time.

Eucalypt Media was able to use the limited direction I gave them to create interesting, thoughtful articles that spoke to our audience and incorporated key themes that were important to our alumni. They were always on time, even with tight deadlines. I was particularly impressed with how they worked relentlessly to have an interview with Governor LePage, which is often difficult to arrange with his busy schedule. I highly recommend Kathryn and her company if you are looking for quality work delivered on time and at a reasonable rate.
